The Old Farmhouse, Honeymead offers luxury self catering farmhouse accommodation on Exmoor for up to 10 people.
Its origins are in the earliest days of modern Exmoor nearly 200 years ago. It was completely modernised in 2010-11 and now comprises luxury accommodation for 10 people - see Accommodation section for full details. The Old Farmhouse is regularly used by members of the owning family as well as being available for other holiday-makers.
Honeymead is a 1,000 acre estate which has been owned by the Waley-Cohen family since the early part of the last century, and as well as a large garden, the Old Farmhouse benefits from extensive views over the estate and beyond, and enables visitors to walk over the estate to join public footpaths along the River Barle as it flows from Simonsbath towards Landacre Bridge and Withypool.
"Just thought I'd let you know that we thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Honeymead Farmhouse. We've been holidaying in the October half-term week in various locations in the UK for a number of years now and I can honestly say that this was the best place we have ever stayed in. Very well equipped, stylishly decorated and furnished and in a great location. The whole family enjoyed it, including our 95 year old granny!" GW
